Utsläppsrätt.se provides independent facts and information about carbon offsetting and climate change. We used to provide carbon offsetting, a service now cancelled. Utsläppsrätt.se is based in Sweden and was established in 2006 when the market for carbon offsetting was still very new in Sweden. Utsläppsrätt.se is run by a non-profit organisation (Emisso).

Since 2008 Utsläppsrätt.se is a participant of the UNEP Climate Neutral Network which is part of the UN's Environmental Programme.

In the left hand side menu you will find information on the green house effect, why it is important that we do something about it, and tips on what we can do to reduce our emissions. We also explain what carbon credits and emissions allowances are.
